Professional Goals

As a nurse educator, my mission is to help nurses become more skilled, confident, and caring through evidence-based education and relevant clinical training. As I complete my Master of Science in Nursing Education, I want to strengthen my role in academic nursing by integrating theory, clinical practice, and educational research to help students learn and advance professionally.

I intend to commence my role as a clinical instructor or adjunct faculty member in an undergraduate nursing program in the near future. Through experiential learning, guided reflection, and regular mentoring, I want to help my students develop their clinical judgment, medication safety, and professional communication skills. I am especially interested in using simulation-based learning and formative evaluation to help students with different needs.

In the long run, I want to work as a full-time nurse educator in higher education, helping with curriculum development, program assessment, and efforts to help students succeed. I am dedicated to continuing my professional development and scholarly involvement in nursing education. My goal is to improve nursing education and help future nurses learn to provide safe, patient-centered care by practicing reflection and continually growing.
